| Commodore 1701
serial 12671829 made in Japan. |
Commodore 1084S
serial XT4241474 made in Korea. |
|
 |
| Commodore made
a wide range of monitors, giving a more stable picture
than a regular tv set. |
 |
| The 1701 is a
colour monitor with a 13 inch screen. It has inputs
for composite video and audio at the front and separate
inputs for sound, luminance and chroma at the rear.
The 1701 is suitable for the whole range of Commodore
8 bit computers but was superceded by the 1702 which
looked the same. |
 |
| The1084S can
handle composite video and luma-chroma-audio such
as from the Commodore 64 as well as RGBI and RGB
inputs. This makes it suitable for a wide range
of sources as well as all Commodore computers. Both
40 column and 80 column displays are supported. |
 |
| Both of my monitors
have suffered a common problem: the cover over the
front control panel has broken off. |
