 |
| Over the years I've collected
a range of ticket machines, timetables and other
bus related items. |
 |
| Ticket machines start with
the punches used from the end of the nineteenth
century and include most of the types used by conductors
and drivers during the twentieth. |
 |
| A large selection of Hants
& Dorset timetables from the 1920s to the 1980s
is augmented by examples of various types of ticket,
my rule book, tours brochures and leaflets. |
 |
| From the 1960s, 70s and 80s,
my collection of Southampton City Transport items
includes complete sets of fare charts, timetables
and route maps, and docks tour leaflets. |
 |
| I worked on the buses from
the 1960s to the 1980s, but the museum spans a period
of almost 100 years. |
